Shoulder Labral Cyst

Patient with post shoulder pain and infraspinatus weakness

MRI demonstrates labral cyst , note also signal changes extending to post labrum , probably due to previous labral tear

    Mark – have seen a few similiar cases – these cysts can be drained under US guidance – the pts. then become asymptomatic. The labral tear is often sealed and does not seem to communicate with the cyst if you do arthrogram.
